“We went on Sunday and had the 3 course meal for £38 per person. We also added the oysters and they were fresh and tasty. The Manchester IPA beignet starter and that was a sensational starter. We then had the chicken and the beef roast. The Yorkshire pudding is the best I ever had. Atmosphere is really good and you get a really good service. Would highly recommend trying the roast.”

“We tried Fold for the first time a couple of weeks ago and left wanting more. More because it was brilliant but also more because after almost £140 (including a few drinks which were delicious) we were still a little hungry. So was it worth it? Well, the welcome and service throughout was top notch, with the perfect amount of chat to feel noticed and get a feel for the place but not too much to feel uncomfortable from a lovely man called Logan who looked after us well. The atmosphere was pleasant, with enough people to feel a buzz but spaced out enough and quiet enough to enjoy. The menu and drinks were well explained in a way that didn’t feel pretentious but interesting. We had 6 plates between us and each was delicious and brought out on its own with enough time to enjoy and rest after, before the next plate, and with a short description of the flavours. We were never left without a drink and never waited too long for a waiters attention. So yes, it was worth every penny and we returned after a disappointing experience at another local restaurant (serving bread and wine) for oysters last night (that my partner never usually enjoys but loves Folds’) and a cocktail. Definitely returning but will probably eat a little before we go to avoid spending so much, but if you’re willing to spend for great food and service Fold is definitely recommended!”

“Third time we have visited Fold and we can not fault it. The food, wine and service is outstanding. The chefs are professional and willing to explain plates. The wine choices are superb and front of house staff are very welcoming. Our plan is to visit each season in line with the menu change. “WOW! I genuinely think this was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. This restaurant is outstanding, the food is so interesting and unique, we have never tried flavour combinations like it. The food was incredible, cooked infromt of you with the amazing open kitchen. Every course was outstanding and we could not believe the value for money that we got in the lunch time deal. The service was impeccable, our waitress was so knowledgeable and knew the menu inside out. We will be coming back time and time again now. You need to try this place, you will not be dissapointed.”
